Writing The Cost of Forever was more than just storytelling, it was therapy. In the early stages of my wellness journey, when life felt overwhelming, the process of building this story gave my mind something meaningful to focus on. Pouring my energy into the pages helped me stay grounded and reminded me that resilience can be built one small step at a time.

The idea for this book came from a vivid dream that played out like a movie scene over a decade ago. After sharing it with my wife, Cindy, and realizing no story like it existed, she encouraged me to bring it to life. What started as a dream turned into a twelve-year journey—ten years learning the craft of writing and two years pouring everything into shaping this story.

Through The Cost of Forever, I wanted to explore a question that weighed heavy on my heart: What would you do if your world was turned upside down? This novel dives into resilience, morality, and the difficult choices we all face when life tests us. My hope is that it not only entertains but also inspires reflection—on personal strength, balance, and the delicate line between right and wrong.
